Un/Notice

2025

At the bus stop, we see advertisements and timetables, while small moments pass unnoticed: people, dogs, pigeons, rain and changing patterns of light.

Un/Notice reimagines the bus stop as a quiet local observer. Three small cameras embedded in the frame capture the surroundings every ten seconds from different viewpoints.

Inspired by photography, the images are transformed through pixel stretching into moving fields of colour that respond to nearby sounds. Rather than adding more information, the project creates a pause in the journey, making ordinary shared moments visible.
