In response to the KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2023 theme, “Embrace,” Uniclip is a magnetic clip inspired by the familiar form of a paper clip.
Created after three years of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project reflects on the divisions and challenges that remained around us. Each character represents a different person or social issue, turning the clip into a small symbol of connection.
The name Uniclip combines “unite” and “clip.” By clipping two hands together, it encourages people to express care, accept differences and face change together.
