Can creativity be taught?
Inspired by “Usefulness in Small Things,” Objecademy explores how everyday objects might help young people develop confidence in their creativity.
I created two prompt books: Why, which encourages reflection and questioning, and How, which introduces different approaches to generating ideas. These were tested through a prototype workshop where participants used ordinary objects as starting points for observation, discussion and making.
I later applied the prompts myself, creating a miniature exhibition of around 35 terracotta objects and a pocket-sized publication documenting the process.
